Biography
Dr. Yen-Chin Chen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing, National Sun Yat-sen University, specializing in sleep science, gerontology, and AI-enabled healthcare. She earned her Ph.D. from National Cheng Kung University and completed international research training at the University of Pittsburgh.
Her research integrates nursing, digital health, and intelligent technologies to improve sleep, oral health, and chronic disease outcomes in aging populations. She has published extensively in high-impact SCI/SSCI journals and leads multiple nationally funded projects on AI-assisted sleep interventions and precision care.
Dr. Chen is an award-winning educator and interdisciplinary leader committed to advancing women’s contributions in STEM-driven healthcare innovation and fostering global collaboration.
